Grab your ingredients

Sift dry ingredients

Sift the dry ingredients together to evenly disperse the baking powder and salt throughout the flour.

Sugar and butter

Beat the sugar and softened vegan butter together until the mixture is creamed.

Mix in "egg" & vanilla

Use arrowroot powder mixed with water for the egg replacement and vanilla extract in these sugar cookies.

Fold in the flour

Mix in all-purpose flour with your mixer set on low. Chill your vegan cookie dough for 30 minutes.

Flour your surface

Once the sugar cookie dough is chilled, transfer it to a floured surface to roll it out.

Use a cookie cutter

Once the cookie dough is rolled out, use a circle cookie cutter to form your sugar cookies.

Dip in sprinkles

Dip sugar cookies in vegan rainbow nonpareil (or any sprinkles of your choosing).

Bake until golden

Bake your cookies until the bottoms are golden-brown, then let your sprinkle cookies cool on a wire rack.
