Simmer the syrup

Simmer the sugar, water, and fresh fruit together to make the syrup topping. Mangoes are great, but you can use other fruits too!

Mash the fruit

Roughly mash the mangoes (or other fruit) to thicken the syrup.

Make shaved ice

A quick & easy easy way to make shaved ice is to just use a blender.

Serve in cups

Pack the ice into serving cups, so it's ready to have the syrup drizzled overtop.

Drizzle syrup over

Serve your raspados Mexicanos with lots of syrup and fruit on top.

Top with chamoy

You can also serve your raspados with extra chamoy or candies on top!
