Vegan Chicken

Add the chickpeas, chickpea water, nutritional yeast, broth, seasonings, vinegar, and coconut oil to the bowl of a food processor. Blend the mixture until smooth.

STEP 1

Add the vital wheat gluten, and blend again until it is well incorporated.

STEP 2

If it's too much for your food processor at this point, remove the dough ball and knead it by hand for about 10 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.

STEP 3

Once combined, transfer the dough to a bowl, cover it, and let it rest at room temperature for 20-25 minutes.

STEP 4

Cut the dough, and roll each piece out with a rolling pin until they reach your desired thickness.

STEP 5

Wrap the pieces in foil, then steam them in a pressure cooker on high.

STEP 6

Now they are ready to be added to recipes of your choosing!
