This Hokkaido milk tea is full of rich and creamy flavors! Made with black tea, full-fat plant milk, sweetener, and boba, you will love it!

Simmer the tapioca pearls for 15-30 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

STEP 1

Bring the sugar and water to a simmer until the sugar has fully dissolved.

STEP 2

Strain the tapioca pearls, then transfer them a bowl with a few tablespoons of syrup to soak.

STEP 3

Brew a pot of Assam tea, then add tapioca pearls to a cup, followed by the brewed tea (and ice if you're making it cold).

STEP 4

Add a splash of vanilla and a little syrup to sweeten the milk tea.

STEP 5

Fill the cup up the rest of the way with heavy plant milk or regular plant milk with dairy-free creamer.
