Try cantaritos for a sweet, tangy, and vibrant cocktail served in clay jarritos cups. They're fun to make, delicious to sip, and incredibly refreshing!
If you’re using a jarrito, submerge it in a large bowl of water while you prep the rest of the ingredients. If you're using a regular glass, fill it with ice and water.
Remove the jarrito from the water or empty out your glass. Fill it halfway with ice.
Squeeze the orange, lemon, lime, and grapefruit juice directly into the jarritos or into a cocktail shaker or cup. Add the tequila and salt, then stir.
If you've used a cocktail shaker or cup, pour the citrus and tequila mixture into your serving jarrito or serving glass. Fill the cup to the top with grapefruit soda.
Garnish your cantarito with a pinch more salt on top and a wedge of lemon, lime, orange, or grapefruit. Serve it with an optional lime & salt or chamoy & Tajin rim. Happy drinking!

Notes
Quality of tequila: Opt for a high-quality tequila blanco for a smoother taste. The quality of the spirit really influences the overall flavor of the cocktail.Ratio of juices: Whichever citrus fruits you choose, keep the proportions the same as I recommend in this recipe. This ratio is key to the unique flavor profile of cantaritos.Gentle stirring: Stir the mixture gently to combine flavors without diluting the drink too much. Over-stirring can make the drink too watery.Nutritional information is a rough estimate and should not be taken as health advice.
