Equipment

  • Blender
  • Pitcher or jar
  • Glasses

Ingredients

  • 6 mazapan candies
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk (plain or vanilla)
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice to serve

Instructions

  • Add the almond milk and water, followed by vanilla and mazapan candies, to a blender. Mix until no clumps remain, about 30-60 seconds.
  • Transfer to a large pitcher or jar. Let the mixture chill in your fridge for an hour or two, or serve it immediately over ice. Happy drinking!

Notes

Serving temperature: Serve your agua de mazapan chilled for the most refreshing experience, especially in warm weather.
Add ice last: Add ice cubes just before serving to keep the drink cold without diluting it for an extended period.
Consistency check: If the drink is too thick, add a little more water or almond milk until it reaches your desired consistency.
Rim the glass: If you’re feeling fancy, try rimming the glass with agave syrup and crumbled mazapan candies.
Stop the blender and scrape down the sides, to ensure all the candy pieces are broken down and incorporated.
