First, wash the strawberries in cold water. If you prefer, stem the strawberries, but itβs completely fine to leave them on.
Add strawberries to a blender and mix on high until smooth.
If you prefer no pulp or seeds in your juice, strain it through a fine-mesh strainer or nut milk bag.
Transfer to a glass jar to chill or serve over ice immediately. Happy drinking!
Notes
Adjust the consistency: For a thick consistency, just blend and serve. If you want a thinner, pulp-free drink, strain the strawberry juice. It's up to you!Chill the strawberries: Cold strawberries make the juice more refreshing and help retain a vibrant color. Let them chill in the fridge, or use frozen berries.Add a squeeze of citrus: A bit of freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice can enhance the strawberries' natural flavors and add a zesty note.Non-organic strawberries are one of the most heavily sprayed foods, so they really need to be washed thoroughly. If possible, I highly recommend splurging on organic strawberries.I like to keep as much of the fruit as possible, so I don't usually use a paring knife. Instead, I just rip the green tops off with my hands. If your strawberries are not as ripe or sweet as you'd like, try adding a teaspoon of agave or maple syrup to sweeten your juice naturally.Don't discard the pulp! It can be used in smoothies, baking, or as a natural sweetener in oatmeal.Nutritional information is a rough estimate and should not be taken as health advice.
