All of our recipes are developed, photographed, and written by Justine Drosdovech and Mitch Chapman, a husband and wife duo with over 9 years of experience in vegan cooking and baking.

At BBV, we like to challenge the idea that plant-based eating is expensive or complex. Our recipes are built on everyday ingredients, often using cheaper alternatives without compromising taste or quality.
We’re passionate about making vegan food approachable, easy, and most importantly, affordable. Here’s what you can expect from us:

Justine Drosdovech, Co-Founder
Justine is a seasoned food writer, photographer, and co-founder of Broke Bank Vegan. She is a self-taught plant-based chef but uses her healthcare background to craft dishes that are both delicious and nourishing. After years of living abroad and taking cooking classes, she prioritizes fresh, vibrant flavors with innovative twists.

Mitch Chapman, Co-Founder
Mitch is an accomplished food writer, photographer, and co-founder of Broke Bank Vegan. With a background in healthcare and the restaurant industry, he has a passion for sharing healthy yet flavorful plant-based food. He combines his medical knowledge and culinary creativity to bring budget-friendly vegan dishes to your table.
