All you need is a good blender or food processor, and you’re set to turn these juicy fruits into a refreshing drink that captures the essence of summer in every sip. It’s not only easy on the wallet but also a much healthier option than store-bought juices.

Ingredient notes
This ingredient list is easy! Find a breakdown and suitable substitutes below.

Peaches
You can use any variety, such as Early Amber, Donut, Elberta, Belle of Georgia, or Artic Supreme. For the boldest, sweetest flavor, I recommend fresh, in-season peaches. If possible, I also suggest buying organic and washing them well before use.
Substitute: If necessary, you can use an equal amount of frozen peaches, or swap them out for apricots or nectarines if you prefer.

How to make
Learn the easiest way to make peach juice with my step-by-step instructions. Look for the tips in green throughout this section for consistent and successful results!
Preparation
To begin, wash the peaches in cold water. Next, remove their pits, and roughly chop them into pieces. You can remove the skin from the peaches, but it’s completely fine to leave it on. In fact, it helps add a boost of fiber to your juice!
Peaches can have fuzzy skin that holds onto dirt. Washing them thoroughly under cold water before blending ensures your juice is clean and debris-free.
Assembly
Step 1
Add all of the peach chunks to a high-speed blender, juicer, or food processor. Blend or pulse on high until you reach a smooth consistency.

Step 2
If you prefer a thinner consistency, strain your peach juice through a nut milk bag or fine mesh strainer. Transfer the juice to a large mason jar to chill in the fridge, or serve it over ice immediately. Happy drinking!

Expert tip
For the best peach juice, opt for ripe, in-season peaches, which are juicier and packed with natural sweetness. This also helps reduce the need for added sweeteners.
Avoid peaches that are overly hard or have no scent, as they’re likely underripe and will yield a less flavorful juice. Look for peaches that are slightly firm to the touch and free from any bruises or discoloration.
If the peaches are slightly overripe, don’t discard them! These fruits can actually provide an even richer, more concentrated peach flavor.
Recipe tips
Chill in advance: To prevent having to wait for your juice to cool, place your peaches in the fridge the night before making the juice.
Avoid canned fruit: Frozen peaches work fine, but you’ll want to avoid canned varieties as they’re packaged with syrup and sugars.
Adjust the sweetness: If you prefer a sweeter juice, enhance the flavor by adding 1 tablespoon of peach simple syrup or your favorite sweetener at a time.
Experiment with flavors: Try adding a hint of vanilla extract, cinnamon, or fresh mint for a flavor twist on the classic peach juice flavor.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, this recipe works just as well with frozen peaches. Add an equal amount, and grind them into a liquid. If you have trouble getting the blade of your blender or food processor moving, you may need to add a splash of water.
You can peel your peaches if you prefer a super-smooth consistency. However, doing so isn’t necessary and adds extra fiber!
Ripe peaches should feel slightly soft to the touch and have a fragrant aroma at the stem end. They should also have a deep yellow or golden color beneath their red areas.
Storing
Homemade peach juice is best enjoyed immediately for optimal freshness and nutritional benefits, but sometimes, storing it is necessary! If you have leftovers, transfer them to an airtight container or jar.
Fridge
Peach juice can be stored in the fridge. It should last for up to 2-3 days when stored and refrigerated properly.
Freezer
Freezing peach juice is a great option to extend its shelf life. Pour the juice into a freezer-safe container or ice cube trays, leaving some space for expansion. Frozen peach juice can last for up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight before use.
